Willan House is located in the ancient hamlet of Stainfield, 3 miles from Bardney and 3 miles from Wragby in Lincolnshire. We are conveniently located for Lincoln (10 miles to the west) and Horncastle (10 miles to the east) and all these locations offer services that we are able to use.
Residents are normally registered with a GP Practice in either Wragby or Bardney. A District Nurse team covers both areas and works alongside the GP’s and will attend any resident who requires nursing attention.
Willan House is registered for up to 10 residents with dementia. We have developed skills in caring for residents with dementia and use training developed by the Alzheimer’s society to ensure our residents are cared for individually.
We are also able to provide day care for residents, with the flexibility needed to offer genuine support for families. Contact us to discuss the possibilities.

We both want to thank you for all the loving care and attention you have given to Mum during her stay at Willan House. It is wonderful to see how much she has improved in your care-we will never forget your kindness. If any of you would like to call and see mum at anytime, you will be very welcome. I have not seen my mother so healthy, mobile and happy for 14 years. (KE: Nov 2007. Care plan review)
The first time I visited Willan House I was struck by the warm, happy and friendly-indeed loving - atmosphere throughout the home...it is not only the obvious things...such as help with walking, she is gently helped along at her own pace no matter how long it takes. Recently I walked in to find two carers asking each resident which flowers and vegetables should be grown in the garden this year, and it is these things which make residents feel part of a family and a home, which makes Willan House so special.
